  The Emerging Leaders ‘program empowers participants through fun, engaging, group, individual, and project-based learning. The program cultivates essential leadership, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration abilities. The program also comprehensively develops students’ social-emotional skills with the aim of positively impacting their academic achievement and overall school experience.

 Current research suggests that students lose 2-3 months of knowledge over the summer, a statistic that disproportionately impacts lower income children. The Summer Enrichment Program is a means to combat this knowledge gap. Mentors meet with students seven weeks during the summer to work on Math, English, and social skills.  

 The Young Scholars Book Club Is a hands-on reading experience for children K-5. It is designed to get students interested and excited about literature while building vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency skills.
